Katrina and I are very excited to be the first team ever to compete from University of North Dakota in the Air Race Classic. We have been busy preparing for over a year now, but its time to kick it into gear! We are all registered and now onto the next step. Katrina and I have set up meetings with Fred Remer to discuss mountainous weather conditions, Lewis Liang to talk about how to prepare to go out for a competition, Don Dubuque with mountain flying, Leo Saucedo, Morgan Stroah, and Dan Kasowski to discuss what aircraft we will be using and preventative maintenance. Both of us are so thankful that these people are willing to step out and help us succeed. However, we owe a big THANK YOU to Beth Bjerke for all of her help as our contact with getting this all set up! That is about all we know for now! Katrina or I will give an update after we have had our meetings!!
